I know, I know, it's not even Thanksgiving! BUT, all I can think about is Christmas! How can you blame me, Starbucks came out with their Christmas cups the weekend after Halloween, Santa has been at the mall for the past two weeks, 98.9 and 102.7 have been playing nothing but Christmas music and Christmas trees have been lining the aisles of Target since October 25th! I have been bugging Jason with all the Christmas decoration chatter, dragging him around from store to store, he has been such a trooper! I broke down on Sunday night and started decorating, I almost finished up with my mom and sister on Monday night...all except the tree, only because you can't get a real tree until this weekend! (It is on my to do list Friday) Although I have missed my family traditions, it has been fun to create new ones with Jason in our new house! This Friday we are headed out to get our "real" Christmas tree, which is a first for me, my family has always had a fake tree. This should be a fun new adventure, we will see where it takes me... Here are some pictures of the basic decorations, more to come! Please excuse my terrible camera!
I just love blogs, I love to read what is going on in my friends' lives, I love to see the latest pictures, it keeps me up to date and sometimes in this busy world it is the only way to keep up. So, I decided to create a blog and journal me and Jason's firsts. In some ways it is just a way for me to reflect on all my blessings and a reminder of how great life really is. It is the simple things in life that create the best memories and sometimes we need to just stop and take it all in. So here is my pit stop, my place to reflect and connect.
